Black & Women’s History Month Campaign
Project Summary
As the Communications Assistant at California Environmental Voters, I played a central role in the development and execution of two comprehensive digital campaigns honoring Black History Month (February) and Women’s History Month (March). Both campaigns were designed to amplify historically excluded voices in the environmental movement and align with EnviroVoters’ mission to advance racial equity and climate justice.
Impact: This content helped position EnviroVoters as an educational and advocacy-forward organization, engaging new audiences around core values and historical context behind its policy work.

Project Outline
Led research efforts to gather historical and contemporary information on climate justice, environmental racism, and prominent environmental leaders.
Organized research into usable content formats—infographics, videos, and blogs—to ensure accessibility and engagement across platforms.
Developed all scripts for video content and long-form storytelling segments.
Designed visual assets including infographics and informational graphics for social media.
Wrote and scheduled all captions for campaign-related social media posts across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Coordinated blog development to extend the reach and depth of key campaign themes through written features.
